Exactly As You Are, You Are Enough | Let Go Of The Doubts

Hands down, I’d say one of my worst habits is questioning myself.  Doubting ourselves doesn’t get us any closer to where we want to be.  It’s easy to fall into the trap of not thinking we’re enough.  I know for a long time, I fell into the trap of constantly focusing on what I saw as my own shortcomings.

After spending so much time convincing myself that I wasn’t enough, I realized that I needed to play to my strengths.  Pushing myself to believe that I wasn’t enough wasn’t helping me get closer to my goals.  While I still sometimes fall into the trap of doubting myself, I think it’s important to be our own cheerleaders.

Exactly As You Are, You Are Enough | Evolving to Believe in Yourself

A couple years ago, there was not a chance in hell that I would have agreed to walk a runway.  I would have made an entire list of reasons why I couldn’t do it.  Not pretty enough, not skinny enough, not smart enough, not interesting enough…the list goes on.  Being this hard on ourselves is harmful and makes it even tougher for us to be the best version of ourselves.

Exactly As You Are, You Are Enough | You Are Enough

You are smart enough, you are kind enough, you don’t have to be someone else.  Just as you are, you are 100% enough for yourself, for your loved ones, and for this world.  Take that energy into the new week and go kick butt!  Most importantly, lean into believing in yourself, your abilities, and knowing that you are more than capable.
