The past couple of weekend’s have felt like a complete blur; last week I worked Sunday-Thursday, was a bum Friday, woke up at 7 Saturday to drive up to Columbus to host the World of Vera Bradley launch party at Macy’s {more on that later this week!} and spent Sunday at work and then my sorority’s Founders Day events. Busy, busy which means I’m super grateful for Daylight Savings Time.
I picked out this white top from AliExpress because of the scalloped edge on the sleeves, hem and neckline. The top also comes with a simple white sash that you can use to belt the waist; I opted to leave it off but I like that it’s there if you want to enhance the waist a bit. The fabric is lightweight which really makes this the perfect top to throw on for dinner or a night out.
I wrapped my black and white blanket scarf around my neck so that I could wear it as a shawl or leave it long for an easy fall accessory. I decided to double up on the plaid with my new bag from Vera Bradley’s winter collection. The bag is trimmed with black leather and features pretty gold hardware. The plaid features neutrals with a simple red that makes the plaid perfect for the holiday season without seeming too over the top. I tried on this scarf in the fun print over the weekend and am completely obsessed.
