I’ve been trying to get better about sharing these day to day, real life outfits on my Instagram story a couple times a week. Like I mentioned in my last Friday Favorites post that I’ve been working on bringing more authenticity to the content I’m putting out versus always putting out the super polished content that I think people want to see. What I’ve Been Wearing Lately + Friday Favs | What I’m Buying Now
TBH, nothing too exciting. I’d say in general this has been a year where I’ve tried to be more fiscally responsible in my clothing purchases. My exciting purchase this week was a new pair of Nike shorts; I’ve been going to the gym and hate doing laundry just for gym clothes. This pair was on sale with free shipping so I snagged them. If you also love the Nike dry-tempo shorts, it looks like Academy has a TON for $22.50 {versus $30} with $4 shipping. {Planning on swinging by my local store so I’ll report back!}

I purchased three items during early access of the Nordstrom sale and one’s going back so I feel very good about my self control. I may hit up LOFT this weekend since they’re running 40% off and 50-60% off sale. I only loved one of the pairs of shorts I bought during my last LOFT order so I need to return the meh pairs and probably snag 2-3 pairs of shorts that fit. {Bonus purchase: this pack of silicone and metal straws! I have sensitive teeth so I use straws for anything frozen or with ice. This set comes with multiple size straws and the cleaning brushes!}

- Podcast: Women Supporting Women in This Tribe Called Bliss // Almost 30 Podcast — My friend Lindsey recommended this based off some of the conversations we’d been having recently and I really enjoyed it. The guest, Lori Harder, talks about being an empath and how draining personal relationships can be because empaths tend to take everything {emotions, problems, etc} on themselves.
- Listening: The Mack // Nevada — This remix popped up on my Apple Pure Cardio playlist and I loooove this remix of the hip-hop classic.
- Watching: Scandal // The final season — I had missed a couple of episodes in February and never got back on track. Looking forward to finishing the show in the next couple of weeks.
