12 Days of Blogmas: Way to Wonderland Sweater

Happy Monday y’all! Louisville is officially in winter mode and as much as I hate my fingers and toes turning into ice blocks {#circulationproblems}, it’s actually kind of pretty to look at.  Between being sick and being stressed about the holidays, I did manage to shoot some fun new content for the blog which is a win-win in my book.

IN THIS POST:

The high neck on this sweater from Chicwish immediately had me swooning and it was great to bust out during the cold spell.  Since the sleeves are oversized with the large bell, I wanted to make sure the rest of the look was sleek and chic.  I broke out my trusty J. Crew Factory Sidewalk Skirt and tucked the sweater in at the waist;  I can’t say enough good things about this ‘easy to wear’ piece.  The skirt comes in a ton of colors and even a few prints making outfit planning a breeze.  And while we’re on the topic of easy dressing – go ahead and snag yourself a pair of printed tights right now.  You saw my chevron pair in this post earlier in the Blogmas series and I couldn’t resist adding this polka dot pair to my collection {especially at such a great price!}  I love that they add some personality to an outfit especially when I’m wearing a basic dress or skirt combo.

Chicwish is constantly getting in new arrivals and so many are perfect for whatever plans you have for NYE!  Currently crushing on this pretty crochet top {would look so cute with leather pants!}, this scalloped off the shoulder dress {such a fun twist on the latest trend}, and this pretty baby blue leather jacket!

I feel like the end of the year completely snuck up on me, but I’m excited to take on 2017.  Have you set any goals or resolutions yet?  For me, I’m hoping to eat a little healthier {Chick Fil A breakfast, I’m still comin’ for ya}, travel more {I want to go see my little nugget in San Jose!} and ramp up content in this space {Tif and I chatted about #bloglife last week and it got me so excited for 2017!}
