Unboxing: the Fab Fit Fun Fall Box

September 28, 2016

Today’s post is a little less style and a little more life so I hope y’all enjoy. I wanted to share the new Fab Fit Fun box that recently launched for fall.  Fab Fit Fun is a quarterly subscription box but unlike many other subscription boxes you receive full size products and the box covers a wide variety of interests such as, beauty, fashion, health, and home.  Each box has at least $200 of goodies inside + costs $49.99 {promo code coming at you down below!}

The company reached out to me towards the end of summer and let me try their summer box {which was awesome}, but this fall box is loaded with items that I’m so excited to try and share with you!

Each season the packaging changes and this box was purposely left blank so that you can destress by using the colored pencils in both your coloring book and the box.  I still haven’t been able to try out all of the items from this box {The ToeSox have me thinking about trying a PureBarre class}, but wanted to share my first impressions.

I was so excited about the blanket scarf and while I already have this color {#HoarderProblems}, I love that they included this.  In every box, you receive a coupon guide for the brands that are included as well as a magazine that breaks down every item included, tips for use and information about the box.  This go round, there is a guide on different ways to style your blanket scarf which will definitely be handy this fall.  {For those wondering what I’m doing with my blanket scarf — I’ll be donating it as part of a basket I’m putting together for a local Fall Festival.  If you’re in the Louisville/Southern Indiana area and want more info, shoot me an email!}

The next item on my ‘must try right away’ list was the Pure Cosmetics Eyeshadow palette; I love my Naked palette and after looking online saw that the colors seemed pretty similar.  The palette comes with a double sided brush and the shadows can be applied wet or dry.  So far, I’ve been really impressed with the pigmentation of the shadows.  The brush is kind of meh to me, but I want to give it a couple more tries before saying it’s a dud.
The travel mug is super cute, plastic {yay for not breaking things}, but is not dishwasher or microwave safe.  I am constantly forgetting mugs {and therefore forgetting to empty them out #oops} so I like all of my to go items to be easy to throw in the dishwasher.
One of the sponsored bonus items in this box is a miniature deodorant from Secret.  It’s no secret {pun completely intended} that I’m a bit high-strung and panicky so having a deodorant that I can throw in my purse and break out at any given time is pretty clutch.
The next items on my ‘to try’ list are:
  • the Spongellé body wash infused buffer – The scent has been slowly permeating my bedroom and is not overwhelming, which I like.  I love the Buffy Bar from LUSH but always forget to stop by the mall to pick up a new one so I’m interested to see if this buffer leads to similar results.
  • Skin Laundry Restoring Night Serum – Genuinely not sure if it’s turning 25 or just me trying to take better care of myself, but I’ve been trying to be better about moisturizing my skin.  One of the helpful tips for this serum is to use it during travel to help you look and feel refreshed on arrival.  I’ve got an exciting weekend trip this fall {can’t wait to share details with y’all!} and will definitely have to give this a go.

Let me know if you end up ordering one of these boxes {or already received one} as I always love to hear what products people end up loving.  Don’t forget to use code NICOLEWORE to get $10 off your box!
