Would I really be a fashion blogger without a {documented} trip to the pumpkin patch?  I pulled out this cozy poncho to wear to an orchard that’s just north of Louisville.  It’s one size fits all with an oversized turtleneck.  One of the things that I love about mock necks is that I can arrange the neck comfortably; this turtleneck has extra fabric that lets you do the same thing and isn’t super tight at the neck.  Perhaps best of all is the length;  I wanted some new sweaters to wear with leggings and my ponte pants which was why I ordered this poncho and it’s the length is right for me to do just that.  It also has slits on the sides that come up to the waist that make the oversized piece a little more flattering.  I layered mine over a long sleeved tee {and in the process realized I really need to pick up some more basic layering tees for late fall/winter! These ones come in a ton of different colors and are on sale for just $15.}
I’ve been loving the denim leggings that I picked up from LOFT last month and since it’s so often a struggle for me to find jeans that fit my body, I went ahead and snagged another pair in a darker rinse.  These ones are a bit stiffer than my other pair but fit just as well.  I tucked them into my Hunter boots.  I love that I can muck around in these and not worry about anything leaking in.  While I wouldn’t define these as budget friendly, you can find these from time to time at Costco, Nordstrom Rack, Sak’s off 5th and even your local thrift store {I bought a pair earlier in the year from my Clothes Mentor.}
And speaking of Nordstrom Rack — how fab are these Kendra Scott statement earrings that I picked up last week?! I stopped by on my day off to do some browsing and was so shocked to find them marked down on clearance; especially when I went online and they were still listed full price.
This leather crossbody from Vera Bradley has been my grab and go bag lately; the inside has several card slots so that I can ditch my wallet and keep things light.  The burgundy with black trim is perfect to carry from fall into winter, but there’s also a black, non-quilted leather option that’s on sale.  Right now they are running an additional 20% off sale styles which puts the bag right around $80!
