Try It Out: My First Rocksbox

March 25, 2015

I started using Rocksbox at the beginning of March.  I wasn’t sure what to think of it when it started popping up on my instagram feed, but when the company reached out offering me the opportunity to be a Rocksbox It Girl, I figured I’d give it a try.

For those of you not familiar, Rocksbox is a jewelry subscription service — think Netflix but for dainty cuffs, statement necklaces and some of your favorite brands, like Kendra Scott and Loren Hope. When you sign up to be a Shine Insider, you take a style quiz that tells your stylist more about the style of jewelry you wear.  You get to decide if you want a mix of everything or can opt to just get necklaces, earrings, bracelets and rings.

Both of these items were included in my first box.  The Rosalie Crystal Ring and Avery Necklace are both by Perry Street; I also received the Palm Cili Collar in Silver by Jenny Bird.

I had put this ring on my wish list and immediately started drooling when I saw it.  I wore this outfit for a visit from our company’s district manager and she immediately commented on how much she loved the look.

Perry Street Avery Necklace via Rocksbox + Old Navy dress worn as blouse + J Crew Factory Herringbone Vest (sold out, similar here) + Versona Accessories bracelets + Michael Kors Petite Lexington watch + Kate Spade New York Hampton Road Juliana via Nordstrom Rack (in black)

I wasn’t sure about the color of this necklace, mostly because I don’t have a single orange necklace in my extensive collection, but decided to place it on my wish list because of how fun it was.  I paired it with bright colors for a girls’ night out look.

Intrigued by the service? You can try your first month free when you sign up and enter code whatnicoleworexoxo at checkout!  You’re able to cancel at any time — let me know what you get 🙂
