When Everything Intersects…on 2020

December 21, 2020

It’s the last full week of December and somehow I’m just now writing my first blog post of the month. {Oops!} A couple months ago, I tried to sit down and write about how I was feeling about *waves hands around* everything and could not get it to flow in the right way. As much as I want to believe that someday this very intense year will make sense, it’s also ok if it doesn’t. Since we’re wrapping up the year though, it felt like a natural time to share one of my big takeaways on how everything intersects plus an update on my 2020 word of the year.

How Impostor Syndrome Makes Me Feel & Snow Day Errands

January 28, 2019

Ready for a real life outfit?  Look no further! This colorblock cardigan combo is what I wore for some snow day errands recently.  While I’m not into cold weather, I’m a big fan of colorful sweaters like this one!  Best of all, it’s only $27 and I know I’ll be able to wear it a ton of different ways.  I’m also getting real about impostor syndrome and dealing with it.

How I Want to Grow This Year & Holiday Snaps

January 1, 2018

Happy 2018! Last week, I took the week off to enjoy time with my family and also reflect on the year. To be entirely honest, I’ve felt burnt out in multiple aspects of my life the past few months and so sorting through that and setting goals for the New Year was pretty high on my agenda. While I’m not big on traditional resolutions, I do try to sit down each year and make myself a list of goals. I wanted to share those here today, in case any of you have been dealing similar situations and also to help hold myself accountable. Some of my friends choose a word for the year & if you made me choose one, I would say my word for 2018 is GROW.
