September 10, 2020

I know I”ll continue to wear bold colors but thought I would share a preppy outfit to send summer off.  I’m pretty sure I felt every emotion under the sun during summer 2020, but wanted to share some highs and lows too.

Tips for Successfully Completing a No Shop Month

January 31, 2020

Y’all — we made it! January felt approximately 378494012 days long, but we finally are at the end of January.  Earlier this week, I talked about my 2020 word of the year and some financial goals I have for the year.  One of the things I tend to do each January is a no shop month.  It helps me rebuild savings/pay extra on my credit card after extra holiday spending as well as get back in the habit of saving.

Blush Handkerchief Dress for Kentucky Oaks Day

April 10, 2019

Oaks Day is the day before the Derby and everyone is encouraged to wear pink!  Breast cancer survivors are honored and a portion of proceeds from the day goes towards breast cancer research and awareness charities. Knowing this, I picked a blush dress that would be perfect for Oaks Day and brunch with friends.
