Splurging on Luxury Makeup & Charlotte Tilbury’s New Collection

Opportunities to do my makeup or get dressed up for a date have been few and far between this year so when I opened up Charlotte Tilbury’s new collection, I decided to do both for some photos. The Walk of No Shame shade has been a popular part of the brand’s line so much so that they launched this collection. For those not familiar with Charlotte Tilbury, they are a luxury beauty brand. As the products are priced at a higher price point, I thought it would be helpful to review the products I’ve tried here.

Here’s What Happened When I Changed My Skincare Routine

Acne has been an annoying part of my life since I was a teenager.  While my breakouts are A LOT more manageable now; I’m still very self-conscious about my skin after years of unevenness, acne scarring, cystic breakouts, etc.  These days, most of my breakouts are hormonal breakouts that pop up before my period, make me feel ugly for a week or two and then slowly heal afterwards.  Last month, I decided to change my skincare routine to see if using a few different products could help my skin.

Hi gang! BoxyCharm is a monthly beauty subscription box that includes 4-5 full size beauty items valued to be at least $100.  The monthly box costs $21, although signing up for 3-12 month subscription will drop the cost a bit.  Beauty subscription boxes definitely are not a new concept but this is the first one I’ve ever received.  In the past, I’ve always worried that I wouldn’t love everything in a beauty box and that it would end up being cheaper to just directly purchase beauty products that I was interested in.

BoxyCharm was a subscription box I knew about through beauty YouTubers that I follow so I was pretty excited to receive my first box.
