With it officially being hot in Louisville, I’m breaking out all the sundresses. Yesterday, it was in the 80s and all I could think about was ice cream, popsicles, and going to the pool. This sunshine yellow summer dress is perfect for the warmer days ahead.

What drew me to this dress was the asymmetrical button detail as well as the purples, pinks, and yellow. Gonna be really honest and say the quality of the dress didn’t blow me away. I steamed the dress before taking it out to shoot and somehow managed to get it wrinkled in the short car ride. While it’s likely an issue of fabric, I also wasn’t in love with the fit on my body.

I’m hoping to be able to pull a basic tee or tank over the top of this striped dress so I can style it as a cute striped skirt. Another way I’d wear it is just under a jean jacket. While the material makes me kinda meh for everyday, I can see myself using this dress as my pool/lake/beach coverup this year.
