September has been insane. To be honest, 2018 has been a year where I’ve had SO much going on that figuring out when I’ll get things done can be intimidating. Saying I’m attached to my iPhone is probably an understatement. It’s crazy but from one little device, I’m able to check my schedule, create content, catch up with friends, take calls and meetings, and keep up with email. The Shell Select station features free WiFi but more importantly has multiple sitting areas including an outdoor patio. –Praise hands emoji– The station is clean and perfect to work from. I’ve stopped by the new location a few times now with my laptop and been able to set up my own workstation without any problems. Think of it as your new favorite coffeeshop.

Last week, I attended the grand opening which was a blast! I had a lot going on that day and so I swung by, grabbed a fresh cinnamon roll, and took in all of the festivities. It was incredible to hear how Shell has partnered with the Louisville community to make this a place where people of all ages feel comfortable gathering.

It’s hard for me to narrow down what I love the most about the Shell Select concept, but the cafe is definitely up there! I’m a bit of a food snob so when visiting gas stations, I typically stick to my prepackaged snacks. Shell Select features a wide variety of fresh, in-house made options for everyone from the picky eater to the self-proclaimed foodie. I mentioned the cinnamon rolls already but I also love the smoothies and Hot Brown panini.
