Oh hey, Monday! Good to see you again.  I cannot believe that we are already all up on the end of a month and that we’re officially two months away from 2017! Crazy town.  Today, I’m sharing a bold and colorful outfit that features the cutest scalloped top from a boutique that’s right here in Louisville.

When Jordan, the owner of Impromptu Boutique, reached out to me I was so excited because I love featuring small businesses and even better this one is local to Louisville.  Impromptu opened up over the summer and has tons of fun offerings with most items being under $50; perfect for the gal on a budget.  While you can definitely find an outfit for your next night out, there’s also some really fun items that are great for everyday wear — I’m crushing hard on this criss cross back sweater and this sleeveless turtleneck.  Like most of our favorite boutiques, one of the best ways to keep up with new arrivals is through Instagram so be sure to give them a follow here!  I love elbow and 3/4 length sleeves this time of year so picking out this royal blue top was a no brainer.  The front is solid with a simple scalloped hem while the back has overlapping flaps with scalloped detail that floats from right below your shoulders down.  I’m wearing the small.

We all know that accessories can change the entire look of an outfit so I have to tell you about some of these pieces.  My circle tassel bag is a great dupe for the Sofia collection of bags from Rebecca Minkoff and at $25 the price really can’t be beat.  I love that the bold tassels on the bag add some more color to my outfit while still tying in the blue and classic black.  The size is smaller, but has a back pocket for you to tuck a tube of lipstick in and an interior slot for cards and cash.  The strap was just long enough for me to wear crossbody when extended all the way so if you’re a taller gal know that this bag will be a shoulder bag on you.

Finally, if you missed the announcement on Instagram over the weekend, I’m hosting an event with Vera Bradley and Macy’s in Columbus, Ohio this upcoming Saturday.  One of the brand new items I added to my Vera collection last week was this super cute Scottie dog phone case for my new iPhone 7.  My 6 finally bit the dust last weekend and while it was a little sad, it’s been so nice to have a cell phone battery that lasts all day long.  I couldn’t make up my mind about what case to get while I was at the Verizon store and ended up getting onto the Vera site when I got home; I’ve had a couple of their cases before and they’ve always done a solid job of protecting my phone while also keeping my stylish.  The glitter in the back of this case moves around whenever you shake or turn your phone, which I think is so fun for the holiday season.  {The case also comes for the 6 if you’re lucky enough to not have needed an upgrade yet!}
