Refresh Your Living Space with Modern Chic Pieces | Pink Couch in the Living Room

While I can appreciate a neutral color palette, I love a bold and colorful home.  This midcentury modern living room features a blush pink velvet couch and an emerald green swivel chair.  The prints here complement the color scheme while a decorative basket sits ready to hold throw blankets and knick knacks. A black and white area rug adds dimension while still being neutral and a piece that’s easy to reuse over time.

Personal favorite touch: the boho southwest decorative pillows pull in the blush pink hue while also adding a touch of glam.

This navy blue and orange family room has a Southwestern inspired feel to the decor.  Between the tufted sofa, matching navy blue loveseat, and poufs, there’s plenty of seating.  The gallery wall features six Society6 prints that add interest while the area rug coordinates with the seating.

My favorite touch: the cobalt blue and orange abstract prints are so fun! I love the idea of having them both in a gallery wall to balance things out.

A couple of months ago, I told my mom that I didn’t know that I should opt for “fun” decor pieces and she said, “why not?!”  Having a millenial pink themed room gives me major bachelorette pad vibes.  This room combines fun pink pieces with more neutral items that you’ll be able to restyle in years to come.

Refresh Your Living Space with Modern Chic Pieces | Setting Up a Patio Space You’ll Love

One of the things that’s really kept my spirits up this summer has been spending time outside on my deck.  This is one of those things I didn’t even realize I took for granted but am so thankful for.  If you have a patio or deck space that you’re not already taking advantage of, I highly recommend!  Having a dedicated outdoor space to read, listen to music, and put up some tomato plants is the best.

Refresh Your Living Space with Modern Chic Pieces | Yellow and Gray Living Room with a Fun Accent Wall

One of the DIYs I’ve been looking at is using a stencil to create an accent wall.  With Dalmatian having a big moment right now, I love the idea of creating one Dalmatian print wall and then leaving the other three walls white or painting them a color to complement your furniture.

Big fan of the gold mirror which is very similar to the beloved Anthropologie mirror, but at a fraction of the cost.
