Magenta Dress | What’s the Skinny?

This has forever been one of my favorite hues; it always complements my skin tone — even when I haven’t seen nearly enough sunshine.  Jewel tones are always my friend.  Lightweight and flowy, this dress is more than just your basic tee shirt dress with the ruffled cold shoulder detail.  The material is stretchy and the magenta dress hits just above the knee.  This dress has my heart with the fitted shoulders and loose fit through the lower body.  Often with this material, visible panty lines become an issue but I was pleasantly surprised to have no such complaints with this number.

Be sure to stay tuned to Instagram, I’ve teamed up with Dixieland Boutique and will be giving one of these dresses away!

Magenta Dress | Devil’s in the Details.

As soon as I opened up this magenta dress, I knew that I wanted to pair it with turquoise jewelry.  Aside from being one of my favorite color combinations, this combination really catches the eye with the two jewel tones.  Lately, I’ve been over wearing this necklace but I just can’t help it; do y’all see how pretty the stones are?  It paired perfectly with the two Kendra Scott pieces that I got in my latest Rocksbox too.  I worried about this bracelet but it’s flexible and can be adjusted down to fit your wrist.  The earrings were surprisingly light — no pulling on my ears.

PS. See my other look with Dixieland Boutique here!

A big thank you to Dixieland Boutique for partnering with me on this post.  As always, all opinions shared are my own.
