Anyone else really excited about discounted candy?! Last week I showed you a casual look for Valentine’s Day featuring my whimsy, LuLaRoe heart leggings.  Today in the post Valentine’s glow, I’m sharing a different style, the LuLaRoe Amelia.  I’ve heard LuLaRoe fans rave about this style but hadn’t tried one out for myself so I’m excited to spill the beans with y’all and share 2 easy ways to wear this flattering style.

I liked the idea of having a zip down the front to make my own v neck dress, but decided to layer up.  I used a button down gingham shirt to print mix with my red and black striped Amelia.  By wearing the dress backwards, I also ensured that I could leave the top button open; this is perfect to wear a short necklace with.  This look really capitalizes on mixing classic prints together: stripes, polka dots, leopard print and gingham.

For the second look, I went a little more classic and threw a white blazer over my classic stripe dress; this dressed up casual look would be perfect for date night!  This time I paired it with a red leather wristlet that has space for your keys, phone, lipstick, cash and ID.

This dress style features box pleats and pockets making it a cult favorite among the LuLa obsessed.  I really wanted to see if it was as versatile as people claim.  In the first look, I wore the dress backwards so that the zipper was in front.  This is frequently suggested for new moms that are nursing {ie. not me}.  LuLaRoe makes dresses and skirts that are perfect for those that are more modest in their personal style.
