And just like that, it’s Friday! I can’t get over how quickly this week flew by, especially since January felt like it was approximately 25 years long.  It was the first week in awhile that I really felt like I GSD on the front end up blogging and I’m feeling really excited about what’s to come this month for What Nicole Wore.  Keep reading to see what I’ve been up to and my latest favorites!

Don’t You Love Fridays? My Latest Favorites | What I Loved This Week:

• My friend Megan drafted me to shoot some new headshots for her.  Afterwards we grabbed a pizookie & I freaked out when I found out that Kendra Scott is finally opening a store in Louisville. Hallelujah but also RIP to my bank account.

• Travis Garland’s cover of ‘Filthy’ // This is a safe space, so I feel like I can be honest and say that JT’s debut single from the new album really underwhelmed me.  I’m liking the funkier take on Justin’s song and have been jamming out to this most of the week.
• My blogger pal Tomi‘s been doing a fun IG Stories series on black creatives for Black History Month and I’ve already been exposed to so many fab women I didn’t know about!
• I gave a quick first impression review of the DermaBlend Flawless Creator Liquid foundation back in January.  Since then, I’ve gotten to experiment with it a little more and have grown to like it.  Less definitely is more with these foundation drops; two drops gives me completely FULL coverage on my face.  Lately, I’ve been using this for blog photos because it photographs so well and really covers any kind of imperfection: acne scars, blemishes, redness, etc.

• Patchology sent over a Valentine’s themed box with their new product, Lip Service, a gloss to balm lip product plus some of their 5 minute Lip Renewal Patches.  They included some of the Sugarfina Candy Lips which I of course ate that night and am eager to buy myself now.
• Oh and of course the Kylie Jenner birth announcement video.  Y’all didn’t think I’d leave out a major Kardashian event, did you?

Don’t You Love Fridays? My Latest Favorites | What I’m Looking Forward To

• Going to a little blogger meet up on Saturday!  I’ll try to remember to catch some of it on Stories.
• Warmer weather.  {Not kidding, it’s supposed to get up to 55 today and I’m considering breaking out the bikini.}
• Black Panther comes out next week; super pumped to go to the movies for the first time in…over a year maybe?
• Louisville Cream is releasing a limited edition Valentine’s Day ice cream pint set and…I finally broke down and put in my order.  I mean just read the description and you’ll understand, “Our “Louisville is for Lovers” Pint Set is Devil’s Food: chocolate cake batter ice cream with devil’s food cake and chocolate frosting and Strawberries & Champagne: balsamic strawberry and brut champagne ice cream.”
• Hoping to find time this weekend to curl up with my Kindle for leisure reading.  My trashy romance loving heart is looking forward to reading Sawyer Bennet’s latest, Reed, but I read Alexis’ review of The Wedding Date and now want to read that next.

• This red and navy one piece swimsuit makes me want to plan a beach trip ASAP!
• If you’re not into the deep v on that suit, this ruffle one has some fun hues in the plaid.
• My mug collection is 100% out of control but I love this ‘Slothee Before Coffee’ mug!
• Slowly but surely, Derby is making it’s way into my head! This floral dress could double as an Easter and Derby dress.
• I can never get enough basics with a twist, so this flutter sleeve tee is on my wish list.
