Anyone else in disbelief that we’re already halfway through January?! I’m all about it if it means the snow will be gone soon, though. I’m rounding up Instagram today; hopefully you already follow me but if not here’s where you need to go 😉

I’ve been so glad to get back into the swing of things post-holidays. One of the things I’ve been trying to do this month is cut back on unnecessary spending and the best way to avoid this for me has been spending free time at the gym instead of online shopping or hitting up Target’s dollar spot — they always get me.

If you ever are in Louisville, Mussel and Burger Bar is an absolute must; I’ve never had a bad meal there. The drinks are phenomenal, I’m not a huge drinker but their white sangria is amazingggggg. I love their pretzel buns and the seafood burger is hands down my favorite. If you decide to get mussels either as an appetizer or a main course, I love the white wine and shallots. There’s two locations in town, so there’s really no excuse to not try it. {If you’re not into burgers 1. explain. 2. they have several “sister” restaurants under the same owner that are also extremely delicious! Dragging some friends to one tomorrow}

And of course with going back to the gym grind comes all the cute activewear because duh.

This polka dot scarf doesn’t get the amount of wear it deserves; it takes a plain, solid outfit {like this one} and really takes it up a notch. The simple black and white makes it easy to wear with anything, anytime.

This look’s coming to the blog soon, but I have to say I love the way these lace up flats look with this dress and cardigan! My exact one’s keep selling out, so I’ve linked a very similar pair that seem to be staying constantly in stock. There’s also this fun snakeskin print pair that’s on sale for $20!

I own a couple a different oxfords in “classic” colors {white, blue and pink} and like these ones the best because they’re no-iron #LazyGirlProblems

They’re also a bit more reasonable than the Brooks Brothers ones that I have.

I’m literally still laughing every time I look at Basic Wick Girls etsy shop. Basic and Bathroom Buddy System are definitely next on my list.
