I finally got super proactive over the weekend and shot a few different outfits – yay for new content and getting lots of real life things accomplished over the past couple weeks.  Today, I’m sharing an outfit idea for the super popular herringbone vest PLUS how to wear Hunter boots with a skirt.

How to Wear Hunter Boots with a Skirt | OPI Nail Polish

This red nail polish is one of my very favorite polish colors that was recommended to me by my old boss a couple years back. I’m not normally a big fan of red as a color, so putting it on my nail can be a nice compromise. The boldness of this color is something that I love and it becomes opaque in one coat, which is so rare these days. I really do like OPI’s brushes and formulas. I always use this base coat polish to prevent the nail polish from staining my nail and finish with this quick drying top coat polish, another recommendation from my old boss.

I feel like I snag a new plaid button down shirt at Francesca’s just about every week, but this one really called out to me. The teal shades plus the pink stripe make the oversized flannel seem more feminine than most plaids. I love to pair super feminine accessories with plaid to really play up the opposing vibes so I pulled out my druzy necklace and a fun leopard print tassel necklace. I also brought out my Mini M.A.B. that I’ve been struggling not to carry every single day lately (See my Instagram for visual proof.) This print is sold out, but I love this leopard bag so much!

My new matte green Hunter boots really complemented the colors in the plaid so I pulled them on to finish out this fall outfit. Make sure to try on some Hunters before ordering; I usually wear an 8.5/9 and am wearing a 7 in these wellie rain boots. #Crazy
