Grid Print Peplum

February 6, 2017

I bought this grid print peplum blouse from LOFT on a whim and love the many styling options it has.  This blouse is a very lightweight material — I needed a camisole underneath, but it means that this piece will transition well into spring.

So what’s the skinny on this grid print peplum?

I love anything in blue and white so ordering this lightweight peplum top was kind of inevitable.    It features a lower drop waist which can look odd on me since my body flares out at the hips.  To keep myself from looking wide, I pulled out an open cardigan that hits just below the hip. I love the way this tan one looks with this spring, grid print peplum top.  I went with this pair of knee slit jeans that are just the right amount of distressed ad a good medium watch which I always love.  {If you saw my IG story Saturday night, you know why I love distressed jeans haha.}

It’s all in the details.

There are literally so many pieces here that I love!  These ankle boots from Francesca’s have been on heavy rotation since I got them in.  The sides are caged and the stacked heel is so comfortable to walk in.  I’m always adding new watches to my collection; this one from Christian Paul has a howlite face {#swoon}.  And finally, add a new pair of statement earrings to your wardrobe ASAP.  This gold and blue tassel pair goes with so much of my wardrobe and always get compliments.  {If you’re looking for a new pair, I’m LOVING this black pair and this druzy pair from Baublebar’s brand new collection for Target called Sugarfix!}
