Green Lace Dress

March 30, 2017

I’ll be sharing a few different looks featuring pieces from Impromptu Boutique over the next month, but had to show y’all this pretty green lace dress.  This dress is the perfect little number for date night, super flattering on and incredibly easy to style.

In this post | Green Lace Dress:

What’s the skinny on the green lace dress?

The green floral lace is over a nude sheath, features lace cap sleeves and nips in at the waist.  I flare out at the hips and while this green lace dress does too, it was a ‘shimmy into the dress’ kind of situation with the small.  On someone with less curves, this dress would be super cute for Easter, but on lil ole me it’s a tad short and tight.  {Hi booty, glad you’re still there.  For reference, I’m wearing the small!}

Devil’s in the details.

With the level of detail in this dress, I really wanted to keep my accessories simple.  I broke out a ton of ‘oldie but goodie’ accessories.  This silver and rhinestone necklace is a few years old from GroopDealz.  I like the simple shine of the necklace against this gorgeous green lace dress.  These pave link bracelets were such a hit when J. Crew came out with them.  I haven’t worn mine as much lately but it used to be a daily part of my outfits.

Last week, I picked up some new lipsticks while Macy’s was running a HUGE beauty sale that included MAC.  This deep red, berry color is so pretty on; I got a ton of compliments while wearing it and is matte {who you guys know is my favorite!}

A big thank you to Impromptu Boutique for partnering with me on this post.  As always, all opinions shared are my own.
