Lace up tops have been all the rage this year and I seriously love the embellished look they give a simple cozy sweater. This gray sweater is vertically ribbed along the hem which makes it slimming {and awesome for hiding a food baby!}

While I like to give my lace up sweaters a casual, edgy vibe by leaving them untied; you can also bow things up if you want to keep things on the more conservative side. What I love too about this sweater is that I can adjust how loose the lace up detail is — you can keep things tight, wear it looser with a bralette or even go for super loose to give the sweater an off the shoulder look.
My style has become a lot more casual over the past year so pairing this with jeans was pretty much a no brainer for an easy look, but you could also half tuck it into a skirt and still rock booties to give things a flirtier look.
This week on the blog will be a little different than normal; I’m planning on having outfit posts up today and Wednesday {a great look for the holidays!}. Thursday’s post will be all about the best sales to shop; I’m hoping to share some of my favorite looks that can be recreated with sale pieces as well as highlight some gift ideas as we launch into the holiday season.
