Friday Favorites: Bring on November!

Who else has a busy weekend on deck? I can’t complain; I’m looking forward to getting stuff done.  November is one of my favorite months even though it’s always super busy.  Excited to share this week’s Friday favorites with you all.

I typically use this section to share some love for fellow bloggers {and I’m still going to!} but I wanted to share a couple of fun features from this week as well!

• The South’s Most Stylish People // I was so excited to be included in Southern Living’s roundup of the best trendsetters from the South.  I’m in great company; in fact, Louisville got three features so be sure to check it out!
• Why the Fashion Blogging Industry Lacks Diversity and What We Can Do About It // If you follow along on Instagram you may have seen me talk about this a bit last week; Tomi talks about the lack of diversity fashion blogging sees and lists out some women to check out ASAP.  {While we’re talking about diversity — I’d love to see more body shapes represented so if you know of a blogger I should check out, please let me know in the comments!}
• Two Ingredient Apple Cider Mimosas // I’ve been looking for a good apple cider mimosa recipe after having one at Toast & finally tried this one out last week.  SO. DANG. GOOD.  And really easy too.  Oh and while it’s regional, Costco has some amazing apple cider in right now!
• Louisville Cream // My love for my local small batch ice cream shop isn’t a secret, but I feel like I have to make a trip down this weekend because they brought out two new flavors: Birthday Cake Cookies & Cream and Bourbon Creamsicle.  Stay tuned to Instagram Stories, I’ll let you know the results 😉
• Alissa’s Mean Girls Burn Book Palette Tutorial and Review // One of the perks of self employment is that instead of listening to music at work, I listen to makeup videos.  And let me just say, as soon as I started seeing photos of this Mean Girls inspired palette, I was hooked.  The names, packaging, and just everything about this was so well done.
