You Know I’m All About that Lace: Thanksgiving Outfit

Anyone else feel like November has completely flown by?! I’m starting out the week by sharing a look that’s the perfect mix of laid back and dressy that can take you from Thanksgiving to a night out with old friends. This fall green lace dress features a floral lace that ends with crochet fringe at the hem. The sage frock can easily work with tights and a jacket if you’re living in cooler weather or want to wear it again throughout the holiday season.

Fall Green Lace Dress | The Dress

It’s easy to fall into the trap of wearing the same colors during the holiday season and so I really have tried to make an effort to incorporate a bigger variety of color into my closet. This dress from Shop the Mint seemed like a great piece to add to my wardrobe because I don’t have a ton of green already in my closet. While I like how the shade looks on me but it’s just not a color that I buy a ton of. The deeper green shade is one that transitions well from fall to winter + pairs well with the traditional winter colors you may find yourself reaching for.

Fall Green Lace Dress | How I’m Spending Thanksgiving

This year, I’m spending Thanksgiving at home in Louisville with my immediate family. I’m fully looking forward to a full day of snacks, football, family time, and dessert. Also looking forward to having Turkey Tetrazzini afterwards; y’all I swear the best thing about leftover turkey is the tetrazzini! Fall Green Lace Dress | The Details

I realized that while I’ve been carrying my leopard clutch a ton in real life, I hadn’t included it here on the blog in a minute. The piece does a good job of tying things together in fall outfits and is a steal at $30! I’ve also been reaching for these pearl statement earrings from Kendra Scott a lot more. They’re a great modern take on classic pearl studs and still have the ability to go with just about everything. I’m wearing the silver but they also come in gold and rose gold.
