January 5, 2017

I’ve been stocking up on winter pieces, like this pink lace up sweater from Romwe, and finally it’s paying off.  It’s been super chilly this week and today we’re supposed to get the first snow of the new year.  While I’m dreading being cold, the first snow of the season always feels kind of magical.

Off the Shoulder Sweater

January 2, 2017

Can I be super honest? I find getting dressed for winter after the holidays very depressing.  There’s so many layers to remember to put on, there’s coats, there’s my poor circulation, you look like a bloated version of the Michelin Tire man all the time — it’s all bad.  I know some people’s personal style thrives this time of year, but for me I typically find that all I want is to stay in bed until springtime.  Luckily I aded this off the shoulder sweater to my closet and its made getting dressed more fun.

12 Days of Blogmas: Easy NYE Look

December 29, 2016

Today’s look marks the end of the Blogmas series and is geared towards helping you get ready for New Year’s Eve.  My big plans for New Year’s Eve include a bottle of Trader Joe’s pre-mixed Bellini, my couch and actively avoiding every couple I know, but I put together an outfit that’s super easy for you to recreate with pieces that I promise are already in your closet.  {Because no one should HAVE to run out and buy an entire new outfit after spending he equivalent of a month’s rent on gifts for others, am I right? Although, if you want a new outfit — go get that new outfit, girl!}

12 Days of Blogmas: Easy NYE Look
featured in this post: shein: eyelet lace top c/o {UNDER $25} + black bodycon skirt {thrifted, UNDER $50} + taupe over the knee boots {ON SALE, UNDER $70} + leopard calf hair clutch {similar, under $100 option} + chevron necklace c/o {UNDER $25} + earrings c/o {JUST $10} + mirrored sunglasses {budget friendly option} + matte lipstick
