The Super Bowl of style blogging is here y’all: it’s the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.  I ranted about this a bit on my Instagram Story yesterday, but with this being such a hyped sale I think it’s important to share that you don’t -HAVE- to buy anything.  Today {at 12:30PM EST} marks the start of early access for Nordstrom card holders, but if you don’t have a card, don’t worry.  Nordstrom typically does a big restock before public access begins.

Last year, my big splurge during the Nordstrom Sale was the Spanx Faux Leather Leggings.  This is the best price point that I’ve seen them at all year so if it’s a piece you’re interested in investing in, now is a good time.  I have the solid faux leather as well as the moto faux leather and much prefer the solid pair.  They’re warmer than traditional black leggings and you can even wear them under pants once it gets really cold.  Speaking of cold: big fan of the Sperry duck boots.  I’ve had mine for two or three years now and they’re in great shape.  Best of all they’re fleece lined which really helps when snow’s on the ground and it’s cold.

I basically live in my Nike shorts come spring and summer.  They are actually one of the items that I’ve purchased in a ton of different colors.  The Free Run sneakers took me all through multiple Europe trips. They’re great for walking and running and hands down my most comfortable sneakers.  And of course, I included this Urban Decay set as I have a ton of their Vice lipsticks and swear by the All Nighter setting spray.
