How I Want to Grow This Year & Holiday Snaps

January 1, 2018

Happy 2018! Last week, I took the week off to enjoy time with my family and also reflect on the year. To be entirely honest, I’ve felt burnt out in multiple aspects of my life the past few months and so sorting through that and setting goals for the New Year was pretty high on my agenda. While I’m not big on traditional resolutions, I do try to sit down each year and make myself a list of goals. I wanted to share those here today, in case any of you have been dealing similar situations and also to help hold myself accountable. Some of my friends choose a word for the year & if you made me choose one, I would say my word for 2018 is GROW.

How to Add Personal Touches to Your Holiday Cards | Picking a Card & Why I Chose Paper Source

This year, I decided I wanted to go with a custom card. Paper Source has TONS of photo card options; originally, I planned on using photos from a holiday shoot to create a classy, ‘I have my life together,’ photo card. That thought completely went out the window though when I saw these “New Year, Same Me” cards. This greeting card felt SO genuine to me & I knew my friends would all actually LOL when they got them in the mail. #BeTrueToYourBrand

Friday Favorites: a Fresh & Local Lunch at Vinaigrette Salads

December 15, 2017

I can’t get over how quickly this week flew by {or how tired I felt the whole week, hmm}. I’m definitely trying to get used to the changing seasons and much cooler temperatures; I hung around home as much as humanly possible. This weekend I’m hoping to take advantage of some warmer weather on Saturday {51 degrees!} and wrap up my Christmas shopping.
