How to Wear Silk Paperbag Pants & Covert Racism

Just like that, we’re post-Derby and back with a spring outfit that’s perfect for Casual Fridays at the office.  These silk paperboy pants were one of the items I snagged during my J. Crew shopping event last month.  Printed pants are so fun for work and this jungle-themed pair is incredible comfortable too.  You’ve likely noticed that I haven’t written as many lifestyle and personal posts during the lead up to Derby so we’re jumping right into that as well today.

Making Heart Health a Priority with Gordmans

Can I make a confession?  Okay great.  I don’t always take my physical health as seriously as I should.  Being more mindful of my body, how I feel, and taking care of myself are all things on my goals for this year.  One thing in particular that’s important to me is my heart health.  High blood pressure and high cholesterol both run in my family.  I want to be able to enjoy my life but also live a long life too.
