How I Choose Blog Collaborations That Fit My Brand

July 3, 2019

I’ve been blogging here at What Nicole Wore for over four years now and have definitely grown since my very first post.  Along the way I’ve learned all kinds of skills, but a big lesson has been how to choose blog collaborations.  I wanted to share some of the thought process that goes into this and the behind the scenes portion of blog partnerships.

How to Be Your Own Sunshine on a Rainy Day

June 11, 2019

Feeling VERY Beyoncé in this yellow maxi dress and not at all mad at it.  The past month or so has been a real rollercoaster of emotions.  Lots of highs and lows and in a humbling way, it’s been a great reminder that you should be your own sunshine.  Entrusting your happiness in someone else can be exciting but at the end of the day if you’re not happy with who you are and what you’re doing, you’re setting yourself up for failure.

24 Hour Challenge + What to Do in Nashville

May 22, 2019

Last week, I got to spend just shy of 24 hours in Nashville.  I actually was there for the last stop of Michelle Obama’s book tour, but obviously had to sneak in a couple meals too.  While I’m hoping to get back to Nashville for a whole weekend soon, I still wanted to share where I stayed and where we ate.

5 Ways to Protect Your Mental Health

May 15, 2019

With May being Mental Health Awareness month, I wanted to share a few things you can do to protect your mental health.  While these are things we should do every single day, it’s a good time to think about what we can do better for our own mental health.  Plus, I’m sharing a spring work wear look that’s perfect for the office.

If you’re new around here I try to be very open because I think it’s important to end the stigma around talking about mental health.  Six years ago, I was first diagnosed with anxiety and depression & being able to get mental healthcare has made me a better person.
