My Newest Food Ornaments and This Year’s Christmas Tree

December 12, 2023

It’s back! One of my favorite Christmas traditions is putting up my food themed Christmas tree. I started collecting food ornaments about 5-6 years ago but my collection has really expanded over the last 2 years. Today I’m showing off some of the newest food ornaments plus a look at this year’s tree.

How to DIY a Zoom Background for Under $60

June 21, 2022

Ever since I moved into my apartment in February, I’ve been moving my desk around every few weeks; the struggle is real to find a cute Zoom background. While we wait for my dream of having a beautiful green bookcase wall with great natural lighting to come to fruition, I needed to get creative and so I ordered some peel and stick wall decals. I wasn’t sure how this apartment DIY project would go but spoiler alert: this was an easy and affordable way to decorate a rental.

Everything You Need for A New Apartment

March 28, 2022

The start of 2022 has been incredibly busy because I moved into my first solo apartment! I knew the area I wanted to move in, but never expected things to go so quickly. I virtually toured two complexes, did an in-person tour at one the next morning, and had signed a lease by the end of that day. While life has felt non-stop, it’s been really exciting on top of being a lot of change. I wanted to hop back into the blog with a comprehensive list of everything you need for a new apartment. This roundup includes items I purchased for my new space so happy to answer product specific questions in the comments too!
