Throwing Bows: Pastel Bow Tank Blouse for Fall

September 22, 2016

I’m a little salty this TGIT because Scandal should be premiering tonight but nooooooo Kerry Washington had to go have another baby.  I’m going to try to get through this emotional time but please be careful with me for the time being. I kid.

The top that I’m featuring today has the cutest bow detail, can be worn for work or play AND features the Pantone colors of the year: Serenity and Rose Quartz.

Between the fab colors and bow detail, I was pretty much set on this cute top almost immediately.  I love that the soft colors make it possible to pair it with a white skirt {or jeans} as well as more traditional fall colors like dark wash denim or a black wool skirt.
Here I went with a navy high-waisted skirt from J. Crew Factory that I snagged off of ThredUp earlier in the year.  I love these skirts because they are elastic waist, have pockets that allow the skirt to still be flattering and come in a wide variety of colors.  Once it cools off more, I like to style mine with printed tights and ankle boots for fall.
I did end up breaking out a miniature arm party too; I love the pave link bracelet.  It’s on the chunkier side so I like to keep things simple when I wear it and just added my dark brown leather watch.  I love the blue hands and I’m all about a date window since I normally can’t remember what I ate for breakfast let alone what day of the week it is.

Haha, I miss Scandal too! I have some catching up to do on Netflix though 😉
