Two Wines for Valentine’s Day from a Non Wine Lover

I don’t know where we went wrong but…I’m not much of a wine drinker. My parents who are Californians kept trying to tell me that I just hadn’t tried good wine. When we took a family trip to Italy, they even took me out on a wine tasting outside of Florence. And that was when I knew…I’m not much of a wine person. However, I wanted to share two wines for Valentine’s Day that I do love which probably means they’re safe for the most fickle of drinkers.

January is (allegedly) 31 days long but it always feels like 31 days + a year. We’re really closing out the month though and with TONS of internet drama to keep us entertained. Hand up if you start every day with coffee or tea. I start just about every day now with one of my coffee mugs filled with hot tea. I’m always looking at new mugs (even though I don’t need them ha) and wanted to share some current favorites.

Bundling Up for the Unexpected with DICK’s Sporting Goods

If there’s one thing these past ten months have taught me, it’s that you can never be too prepared. A couple weeks ago, I got to attend a virtual event with some other bloggers to learn all about some of the unexpected winter offerings available this year at DICK’s Sporting Goods. Afterwards, I got to shop for myself and get bundled up (literally) for the winter months here in Washington DC. And as much as I wish I could channel my inner Elsa and be all ~the cold never bothered me anyways,~ I am sadly someone that is very much bothered by the cold.
