What to Wear in August + Currently Crushing On

What a weekend, y’all!  I started working on a fun, new project that I’ll be telling you all about in a few weeks, relaxed with the fam for a bit, and did some work on the back end of WNW.  {Not always fun, but always necessary.}  Today’s post is definitely more on the laidback side, but a quick look at what I’ve been wearing lately & what I’m currently crushing on!

How to Wear a Midi Skirt & Evan Williams’ New Bar

Anyone else struggle with what to wear to events during this time of year?  You want to look nice but you don’t want to drown in your own sweat, ya know?  A few weeks back, I went to a preview of the new ON3 Bar opened at the Evan Williams Bourbon Experience here in Louisville.  I wanted to show off how to wear a midi skirt, because this outfit was JUST what I needed for the event and the perfect mix of casual chic.

Why I Need Your Help for My Birthday

Hi friends!  Today’s post is one I’ve been anxious to write for MONTHS now.  I’m so excited to finally be hitting publish on this, but I know I’ll need your help.  About six months ago, I started to think about what I wanted to do with What Nicole Wore for my birthday.  That may sound materialistic or self-centered but I assure you it’s not.  This year for my birthday I want to be an advocate to end child hunger.

And before anyone’s like, “ummmm that’s not possible,” I get it.  We can’t end childhood hunger in one month.  What we can do is make a huge difference.  One organization that does this is Blessings in a Backpack and for the whole month of August {plus this bonus week!}, I’ll be fundraising for them.
