2020 Word of the Year & What I’m Working On

January 29, 2020

Do you choose a word of the year?  The past three years I’ve picked a word that ties into some of what I’m working on for the year.  This year as I was thinking about goals for the year, the word that came to my mind was…less.

It seems counterintuitive at first, but this year I want to be able to laser focus my attention on what matters and let those things that aren’t a priority go.

One of my favorite ways to spice up an outfit is adding in new jewelry.  I’m rounding up some of the Valentine’s Day jewelry that I’m loving.  These pieces are an easy way to add a little bit of a festive touch to an outfit without spending a ton.

How to Create 20 Winter Outfits from 10 Bold Staples

January 15, 2020

Without fail, every January I try to shop my own closet as my bank account recovers from holiday spending.  With this being a “low spend” month for me, it seemed fitting to share another capsule wardrobe.  This one is mostly items from Evereve and I’m showing you how to create 20 winter outfits from just 10 pieces.

These looks are all perfect for a Kentucky January so they range from transitional outfits to true winter looks.  {It was 68 degrees last week and we’re projected for 28 degrees on Sunday.  Truly all over the place!}  I tried to also include a good mix of weekend and business casual with these looks too.
