Happy News: I Accepted a New Job

November 2, 2020

This year, I’ve learned to celebrate every time I get the chance so I’m excited to share some happy news: I accepted a new job! As I’ve shared before this time last year, I started thinking about moving from Louisville to the DC suburbs but I also started to seriously think about if I wanted to continue freelancing full time. Ultimately, I decided to make the move and follow my family to Northern Virginia & started browsing for a new job.

Of course, when I sat down in January and wrote down my goals, I didn’t predict how different this year would look from any I’d experienced before.

Splurging on Luxury Makeup & Charlotte Tilbury’s New Collection

September 30, 2020

Opportunities to do my makeup or get dressed up for a date have been few and far between this year so when I opened up Charlotte Tilbury’s new collection, I decided to do both for some photos. The Walk of No Shame shade has been a popular part of the brand’s line so much so that they launched this collection. For those not familiar with Charlotte Tilbury, they are a luxury beauty brand. As the products are priced at a higher price point, I thought it would be helpful to review the products I’ve tried here.

Today marks 47 days to Election Day and time feels like it’s flying by while also moving so slowly.  With today’s post, I want to share information on voter registration & options of how to vote this year. Plus, I’m sharing all the details on my fun VOTE graphic tee that my blogger friend, Jess created with Alice & Wonder. {BONUS: 10% of proceeds will be donated to Vote Save America’s Every Last Vote fund which is actively working to register new voters in key areas.}
