How I Used the April 2020 Boxycharm

May 4, 2020

One of the small things that’s made me happy lately is making a point to put makeup on and fix my hair a couple times a week.  Every month when my monthly BoxyCharm comes in, I love getting to open it up and try out new beauty products.

How I Used the April 2020 Boxycharm | The April Theme

The April box has a Festival Vibes theme.  While festival season was largely #cancelled, this box features a few sheet masks which are great if you want to use your time at home to face your skin some TLC.  The serum on these leaves skin soft and supple.

How I Used the April 2020 Boxycharm | Caramel Melange Eyeshadow Palette

This eyeshadow palette provides a neutral color palette with a slight nod to spring with the blush and coral tones.  These shadows were easy to blend out while still having a strong amount of color payoff.  I do wish that this had a matte dark brown, but if you own other palettes or even singular eyeshadows you likely don’t need one included here.

How I Used the April 2020 Boxycharm | Nude Lipstick

This is the first Dose of Colors lipstick I’ve added to my collection and I really like the quality of it.  This specific shade was a bit light for my skin, but over a brown liner it worked perfectly as an everyday neutral lip color.

I notice that the shape of the lipstick bullet is very unique, and it goes with the eyeshadow palette very well! You look radiant in these products. It’s a great, everyday look.
