This month’s Afterglow BoxyCharm is completely centered around Valentine’s Day. I’ve been subscribed to BoxyCharm since June and this is the first box I’ve received that didn’t have some kind of palette in it.

The Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara is a cult favorite; there’s literally thousands of reviews for this mascara on Sephora. One of the things I want to actually try to do this year is change out my mascara every three months! Having heard so many good things about this one, I tossed out my old one and immediately put this on. Holy volume. The mascara definitely provides a lift and adds length to your eyelashes. I did find that it started to crumble under my eyes if I wore it all day versus for a few hours.

Afterglow BoxyCharm Unboxing for Date Night Makeup | What’s Inside!
When I first got the February box in the mail I wasn’t sure how to feel. This is the first month that there’s been no palette since June, but I think overall it’s a nice change. Lots of BoxyCharm subscribers LOVE that this makeup subscription includes palettes so often so I may be in the minority but I know I’ve given the last two palettes away. {Also worth noting that I received other palettes this month.} I’m actually excited to try out this primer and the smaller size is also nice to be able to hold on for traveling.

One gripe I do have is that BoxyCharm advertises that they put 4-5 full size items in each box. The Farmacy cleanser is not full sized and neither is the Touch in Sol primer. A few months back we got a different Farmacy makeup remover and it was a size made just for the box. Interested to see what’s in the March box and see if the partial sizes are a trend they’re moving towards or a coincidence.
