Why You Can Wear Orange After Halloween

November 1, 2018

It’s officially November and after Halloween so I want to share something shocking.  You can wear orange and black after Halloween!  For a long time, I’ve fallen into this trap of not wearing a holiday’s colors outside of the season but I’m here today to tell you I’m going to keep wearing this burnt orange tee shirt and I’m not going to be afraid to pair it with black.

Why You Can Wear Orange After Halloween | It’s a Great Fall Hue

Orange is a great fall color and pairs well with your favorite neutrals: gray, black, navy, and olive.  If you’re feeling particularly bold throw an orange tee on with a pair of burgundy pants and an olive cardigan!

Here I paired it with black and a cozy, oatmeal colored chenille cardigan that I snagged from Gordmans.  I’ve had lots of good Gordmans finds lately which is pretty exciting!  I mentioned this over on my Instagram Story earlier this week but my local store had a really great selection of basics from brands I know and love like J. Crew, Madewell, and Express.
