With spring comes more daylight and with more sunshine means time to break out the sunglasses! I’m rounding up some of my favorite pairs of sunglasses that are on sale right now. Considering the fact that my eyesight is AWFUL, I try to do everything I can do protect it. Like…wearing sunglasses when I’m outside.

Aside from protecting my eyesight, I’ve also been a huge fan of sunglasses as a fashion accessory. When I first started What Nicole Wore, I wore sunglasses in just about every post. My hands down favorite pair of sunglasses are my Karen Walker Number One sunglasses. These come in tortoise and black but the tortoise really stole my heart. They’re just a really good frame that’s flattering on most face shapes and the tortoise goes with everything. I will say they are pricey. I talked in this post about how I decided to make the splurge but I can honestly say that this is a wardrobe investment that I wear multiple times a week.

Typically, I’m not a fan of expensive sunglasses. Let’s be real — most of us have thrown a pair of shades into our bags and scratched or crushed them. For that reason I also buy inexpensive frames so that I won’t be crying if I sit on or drop my sunglasses at the beach. Since trends come and go, I tend to buy the less expensive frames when it’s a fun item like my red heart shaped sunglasses!

- Elizabeth & James Round Sunglasses // I didn’t think that red sunglasses would be my cup of tea and then I bought my red heart sunglasses and fell in love. They’re such a fun conversation starter and pop of color. Love the idea of rocking red sunglasses with a little black dress…so don’t be surprised if you see that exact combo soon on the blog

- Round Aviators // Whenever I want to try a new sunglass shape, I usually purchase from Amazon that way I don’t break the bank. The round sunglass trend is a bit dependent on face shape but I love that it instantly adds that “cool girl” factor.

- Karen Walker Sunglasses // My tortoise KWs again are my favorite so I had to share this pair that’s on MAJOR sale. These retail for $315 so snagging them at $79 is quite a deal. If you like a rounder lens the Super Lunar is a great style.
