5 Ways to Wear a White Tunic

April 20, 2020

Not sure how everyone else is approaching their quarantine style, but mine has mostly been a rotation of my comfortable clothes.  Even on the days when I want to feel more “dressed up,” I find myself reaching for pieces I can be comfortable in.  I’ve been remixing a lot of my favorite pieces and so I thought it might be helpful to share 5 ways to wear a white tunic.

5 Ways to Wear a White Tunic | Tuck Into Jean Shorts

During my last pre-quarantine shopping trip, I stopped into my local Evereve store and tried on a bunch of different jean shorts.  People rave about the AGolde shorts but the fit just didn’t work for my body.  Knowing how much I love Good American denim, I decided to try their shorts and was pleasantly surprised with both the length and fit of these cutoff shorts.  To pull the look together for spring, I put on my yellow headband and a yellow pair of statement earrings.

5 Ways to Wear a White Tunic | The Basic Uniform

Vests + tunics are so many gals’ fall uniform, and this favorite combo is one I reach for during the spring months too.  This is perfect for feeling a little more put together but still staying comfy while working from home.

5 Ways to Wear a White Tunic | Tucked into a Skirt

To be completely honest, jeans are what I now consider dressy.  Most days, I’m in shorts, leggings, or sweatpants since they feel less restrictive.  Another way to keep option if pants seem like -too- much is to throw on a skirt.  A midi skirt with an elastic waist ups the dressy factor without sacrificing any comfort.  Tuck a tunic into the skirt and add a jean jacket to complete the look.  {If you really want to elevate, throw on a pendant necklace or a pair of statement earrings.  Mine have been pretty abandoned during my time at home!}

5 Ways to Wear a White Tunic | For Essential Errands

Last week, I had to run out to pick up a prescription and this was what I wore.  The camo jacket adds an easy layer that you can remove if it’s too warm while making the outfit look like effort has been put in.  I’m not the biggest believer in leggings as pants so I was quick to order this tunic {and a striped one!} when I saw it on clearance and knew I’d be spending more time at home.

5 Ways to Wear a White Tunic | For the Business Video Call

Do you have a dress to impress moment coming up?  Whether it’s a Zoom call for work or a FaceTime date, throw on the jeans with a tunic and add a blazer.  I’m not a huge pink gal, but when I saw this blazer I knew I wanted it.  The material is super comfortable! As a bonus, this piece can be dressed up or down.

    This is a perfect display of the versatility of a white tunic! Who knew that it looked so good tucked into a midi skirt. I love pieces with multi-function because they save closet space and money.
