How to Dress Bright for 2019 Kentucky Derby & Easter | Green, Blue, & Turquoise

One of the things that makes me excited about Derby style each year is that it marks spring starting.  Bold color is my JAM and always appropriate for a day at Churchill Downs.  This green wrap dress is on sale right now and also comes in a couple different colors.  Pair it with this stunning hat from The Hat Girls that features peacock feathers and green, blue, and turquoise hues.  Finally, I picked jewelry and shoes that tie in the cobalt and turquoise.

Of course, some people prefer a more neutral palette.  What I love about this black and white spring outfit is that the sparkle adds a fun twist.  This would be a cute option for the Kentucky Oaks races if you switched this white and black fascinator for a hot pink Derby hat.  The polka dot Ann Taylor dress is a great work wear option through fall.

Gahhhh, can we talk about Draper James?  Their brand always screams classic Southern style.  I have a few of the Love Circle Dresses in different prints and find this fit and flare silhouette to be so flattering.  This navy dress with coral and white print is a great option to wear to the track this spring.  Coral has been a fun option I enjoy looking at for the pink out on Kentucky Oaks day.

How to Dress Bright for 2019 Kentucky Derby & Easter | Green Gingham

Green is one of the colors I’m loving this spring; this green gingham midi dress works perfectly for summer weddings and Derby.  While you could add another color in, I went for a monochromatic look with all the emerald.  Tons of my fascinators are from The Hat Hive because its a very reasonable price point!  Julie offers lot of customizable options, but it’s also easy to add feathers yourself if you want to be extra.  {I’m always a fan of being extra.}
