12 Days of Blogmas: Holiday Cheer with Francesca’s

December 21, 2016

I’m so excited to share some of the ways that I’ve decorated and prepped my home for the holiday season with Francesca’s as well as some great last minute gifts and stocking stuffers!  This time of year can be stressful so I always try to focus on all the things that I love about the holidays like picking out gifts for others and seeing and entertaining loved ones.

Holiday Cheer with Francesca's
featured in this post: bonjour door mat {sold out, love this one!} + vanya caged side stacked heel + eunina skinny release hem jeans + eve hammered silk off the shoulder top + bridget tech charger braided crossbody + bellevue metal choker set + lindley 5 chevron pendant necklace + this year will be gold wall decor + white lamb fur rug + dalmatian square tray

All items courtesy of Francesca’s.

I’ve always enjoyed shopping at Francesca’s; everything is sorted out by the style inspiration, there’s plenty of gifts to choose from and it’s a great place if you need to one stop shop for an event.  Most clothing items are priced under $50 making it a reasonable way to keep up with the latest trends without killing your wallet.  Right now they’re offering 20% off their entire website with guaranteed Christmas Eve delivery if you order express before 1 pm CST today!

I’ve been in love with the released hem trend on jeans but hadn’t found a pair that fit right on my body, so I was pretty pumped when this pair {JUST $35} fit so well! I’m typically a true 27/4 in jeans but sized up to a 28 in this pair and they fit just right.  They did stretch out a tiny bit during my first wear, but the first wash brought them right back to a comfortable fit. I love that the distressed portions are small so that I can get away with wearing these throughout the winter.  I’ve loved the off the shoulder trend so this metallic, silky number was pretty much a no brainer for me; plus it’s perfect to work into a NYE outfit.  I like to accessorize the extra exposed neckline with these tops by layering short and long necklaces.  This choker is super cute and comes in a set of four different metal finishes; it’d be great to split up as a stocking stuffer if you have two gals on your list.

Small bags are pretty much my jam during holiday breaks because typically I make plans and then get rushed into doing something else and the ease of a crossbody just makes everything so much less stressful. This particular bag caught my eye with the on trend tassel over the magnet closure plus the studded and braided details, but the real winning detail was this my friends: it has a phone charger inside.  Yeah. Seriously. What a game changer.  My friends can attest, I am ALWAYS the person that goes home/to the nearest charger once my battery starts to run low.  I like being connected but I also just get straight up nervous that something will happen and I won’t be able to call anyone for help.  This crossbody has three different pockets {and a zipped top!} with room for all your essentials and has a place inside to tuck the power bank away.  It works with most phone models too so you can be the nice friend that offers to lend your friend a charge.  I’m pretty obsessed if you can’t tell; I’m even taking this bag out with me tonight!

Francesca’s always has awesome wall art so I picked out a pretty and inspirational quote to motivate me to kick booty to put up in my office.  Getting my office done is one of my 2017 goals — mostly because I usually blog from bed and know that that’s kind of a bad habit.  I’m hoping to work in some cozy, functional vibes while also making it a space where I feel productive.  This white lamb fur rug caught my eye because I felt like it fell right into that category.  I love the white because I’m trying to create a bright space and I really think whites help to accomplish that.  Usually when I settle down to work, I put on a basketball podcast {my other true love next to fashion}, kick off my shoes and snack while I work.  Obviously the snacking part can be messy, so having a tray to keep everything together helps a ton.  This one is in a trendy dalmatian print that you can work into most home decors with the black and white color scheme.

Thank you to Francesca’s for partnering with me on this post.  As always, all opinions shared are my own.
