This past weekend, we got our first taste of fall temperatures in Louisville and I was thrilled.  Saturday, I went to Work the Metal‘s fall jewelry trunk show and took full advantage of the cooler weather.  I also broke out my new snakeskin ankle boots and wanted to share 10 snakeskin pieces for fall.

10 Snakeskin Pieces I Love + Trend for Fall | Plaid Reversible Wrap

During my last trip to Evereve, I snagged this plaid wrap.  The colors grabbed my attention when I first saw it online & when I went in-store to try it on, I was thrilled to find that it’s reversible.  With the combination of burgundy, mustard yellow, and a deep forest green, this is easy to work into your fall wardrobe.  You can wear it over a tunic like I did here but it also pairs well with sweaters and thermal tees.

Snakeskin is definitely having a big moment.  You can treat this trend similar to the way you treat leopard print.  Embrace it full force and snag it in a skirt or top  If you’re a little apprehensive, start small with a shoe, handbag, or scarf!

One of my top selling items a couple months ago was this pair of snakeskin ankle boots and the more I showed different ways to wear them, the more I realized I too wanted a pair.  This month, I ordered a similar pair from JustFab and I love how easy these are to throw on with a basic tee and jeans.  While they can be the main statement piece of a look, they also are pretty easy to wear with prints.

10 Snakeskin Pieces I Love + Trend for Fall | These are a Few of My Favorite Things.

Saturday morning when I got up, I had to get dressed pretty quickly but knew I wanted to capitalize on the cooler weather.  I ended up throwing on this outfit which features some of my favorite pieces for fall. My Spanx leggings are a tried and true love!  They were a splurge for me last year that ended up being well worth it.  The faux leather look is chic, the fit on these is very flattering, and I always feel comfortable in them.  {This style doesn’t go on sale very often, so I wanted to link to an affordable price point version as well!}

Ankle boots are always a favorite of mine so I’m loving getting to wear all my pairs right now.  And we can’t forget about layers!  This striped tunic is a piece I snagged at the Macy’s Backstage located inside Macy’s in Oxmoor Center.  Tunic style tops were on my fall shopping list so that I could wear my faux leather leggings even more this year.
