Lately, I’ve been working summer pieces into my wardrobe as the Kentucky weather changes over to summer. We all know I love a blue top, so this one with it’s pretty red embroidery seemed perfect.
Ladies we have to talk. Come summertime, gingham becomes my print of choice. So it wasn’t shocking at all, when this gingham bow blouse made its way into my shopping cart. With three bows across the back, the top gives a twist to the traditional gingham button down and is breezy enough for summer.

This past weekend, Tif and I went shopping at the Outlet Shoppes of the Bluegrass in preparation for our event this Saturday. I was able to add some great pieces to my closet and am excited to share them with y’all. Happy, happy Monday! This weekend, it finally felt like spring and it was amazing. I am 100% a warm weather lover so getting back to sunshiney, 70 degree days is an actual dream come true. Last week, I had the chance to stop by Darling State of Mind, a local boutique here in Louisville that’s in Westport Village. I picked out a couple of different pieces including the tie waist shorts and chambray and linen top that I’m wearing in today’s post. Read on for more information on how they’re celebrating their one year anniversary!

Wee – sorry for the lateness of this post; I wasn’t planning on sharing this colorful look today but…it needed to happen. I shared a sneak at this look earlier in the week on Instagram and everyone wanted to know ALL about my new watermelon purse. Well I’m thrilled to share that Vera Bradley is running a 25% off promo that includes my watermelon bag!
