What’s the skinny on Kentucky Derby pastels?

Pastels for spring are hardly groundbreaking and yet every year new and eye-catching styles come out.  Each year, I look forward to spring rollouts. This dress from Lavish & Luxe immediately caught my eye because of the mint blue shade and crocheted mock neck.  The ruffle layer goes around the shoulders underneath the crocheted shoulders and covers the biceps.  I’ve partnered with this Kentucky-based boutique to offer an exclusive discount to What Nicole Wore readers.  Use NICOLE15 to get an extra 15% off your purchase.

Devil’s in the details.

This blush fascinator from Julia Bee fit perfectly with my Kentucky Derby pastels and has beautiful detailing.  Julia Bee is based in Utah, can work with you to create a custom look and has tons of fascinators and hats ready to ship.  I’m super obsessed with this fascinator in black! My sandals are a great alternative if you are interested in the look of Jack Rogers but want to pay less and/or avoid the break in period.  Palm Beach Sandals are all leather making them more comfortable.
